LYMPHEDEMA

Many breast cancer patients develop arm swelling after surgery and /or radiation therapy. This condition is known as lymphedema. There are a number of treatments that can be provided to reduce lymphedema such as compression bandaging (CB), or wraps, compression pumps and massage.

CHEMOTHERAPY INDUCED PERIPHERAL NEUROPATHY (CIPN)

Chemotherapy induced peripheral neuropathy is a condition affecting the nerves in the feet and hands that is caused by drugs used in the treatment of cancer. Chemotherapy Induced Peripheral Neuropathy is usually called CIPN for short. Patients who develop CIPN can have many different symptoms such as pain, burning, and numbness and tingling in the feet and hands.
